Although this time of rapid social, political, and environmental change has stressed wild and domestic animal communities, it has also provided an opportunity for humans to reevaluate our relationship with animals and design healthier environments, which makes for healthier beings. We also want to provide a platform for people to read about and/or tell their own animal-human success stories, and Dogear notebooks and journals can help you log your daily animal interactions.
In addition to introducing you to shelter and rescue animals through portraits and brief biographies, we hope to raise awareness of the number of animals who need human helpers. Through product sales, we will raise funds to help facilities and volunteers conduct their work comfortably and ethically.
For every purchase you make, 50% of the profits will be donated to the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area (HSHA). The remainder of the proceeds will be reinvested into Dogear. Since Dogear is a project of im-possible, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit design firm and think tank, your purchase is tax-deductible.
